We offer bluing services for firearms and firearm components, as part of our restoration services. Our bluing is a hot salt bluing, and provides a deep dark finish.
Bluing for entire firearms starts at $300, and does not include disassembly and reassembly of the firearm. Several factors can increase the price, such as how much cleaning needs to be done to the firearm, any polishing needed, and removal of existing finishes.
Because of the caustic nature of the chemicals used, and the small size of our shop we have to do this outside and as a result we can only do this from spring to early fall when temperatures are warmer.
